We keep hearing about these unprecedented times we are currenting living through.
Unfortunately, it is unprecedented times. We all have seen the constant barrage of Coronavirus on the news, TV, radio, workplaces, friends, family, the stranger walking past you at the supermarket…. Pretty much everywhere. Its unavoidable to not hear about it or even see the affects it is having. Life as we know it has changed, and I personally don’t think it will ever be the same as before.
It is so sad seeing how many people have been left out of work and having to rely on our government systems to support them… which is struggling, and it is only going to get worse.
Even going to the local supermarket and seeing endless empty shelves, it leaves us feeling in despair.
Just the other night we had an incident in the block of units we live. Four police officers arresting a person who made false claims about having coronavirus. All be it I believe this person may have some mental health problems, but its increasingly difficult for our emergency service workers to respond in the normal ways they may of in the past due to the heightened sensitivity of the current world we live in now.
So many industries have been impacted by all of this, including the photography industry. Although I don’t rely on my photography as an income, so many other people do!
I hope we all come out of this with at least a better appreciation on life… because life can change in an instant!
I will try my best to keep bring you my photographs throughout this time. Weather its new or older content. Although restrictions are limiting our movements right now, and it looks like it’s only going to get worse. I will try my best. Luckily the drone has been getting a real workout of late... And it makes getting shots in times like these a bit easier.
Also, remember to be kind to one another. Check up on those who are feeling isolated. Keep in touch with the people in your life. I am sure they would all appreciate it at this time.
Although life is pretty shit at the moment. Mother nature sure still
knows how to put on a show. These shots where
from Tuesday morning at sunrise. Hands down the best sunrise
I have seen in over 3 years (maybe even ever)!
